Khmaia Taun is a sophomore at Helix Charter High School and is a staff writer for The Highland Fling. She writes articles about whatever the editorial staff assigns to her. Outside of school, she enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, drawing and watching TV. She also enjoys going for walks around the lake and hanging out at the beach with family. A fun fact about Khmaia is that she wants to get into Stanford and play for their girls soccer team. She hopes to become a professional player, but if that doesn’t work out she wants to pursue something in the medical field.
