Ryan Appenzeller is a senior at Helix Charter High School and serves as a Staff Writer for the Highland Fling. Ryan will mostly be covering stories about sports seasons going on at Helix. Outside of school, Ryan enjoys playing lacrosse, watching football and basketball and playing videogames. Some other things Ryan enjoys outside of school are going to the beach, snowboarding, and hanging out with friends. Ryan wants to go to college to play lacrosse and study to become a nurse when he is not on the lacrosse field. If nursing does not work out for Ryan, his backup plan is to become a teacher.
